What is Medi-Purge™ ?
- Medi-Purge™ is a patent pending tool designed to aid medical gas installers and verifiers when purging the medical gas lines with NF nitrogen
- The
Medi-Purge™ comes in (2) versions:
- Chemetron® only version (part #MP-A)
- Amico®, BeaconMedaes®, Gentec®, Ohio Medical®, etc version (part #MP-E)
- Medical gas line purging is much faster with Medi-Purge™ by allowing NF nitrogen to flow through multiple outlets / inlets
- Can quickly braze all pipe joints that have a Medi-Purge™ on each outlet (with NF nitrogen flowing)
- Since Medi-Purge™ is used with medical gas backbodies, each Medi-Purge™ is not gas specific. It can be used on one gas outlet, then quickly moved to another
- Can be used on all gases: oxygen, medical air, vacuum, WAGD, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, and carbon dioxide
- Can be used on all keying styles (used on back bodies): Ohmeda®, Puritan-Bennett®, DISS, and Chemetron®
- Medi-Purge™ can be used to open the check on Beacon Medaes® MEGA 2® area alarm sensor housings
- NF nitrogen to be "pushed" into or out of an outlet / inlet back body
- Eliminates damage to outlet back bodies due to screw drivers, brazing rods, etc wedged into outlets
