Ensure your specifications include
requirements the medical gas installing contractors use Medi-Purge™
- Contractors may be use brazing
rods, pencils, or other devices to hold the secondary checks open causing
outlet damage
- Contractors may not be flowing
NF Nitrogen though outlets / inlets at all when brazing!
- Contractors may use new, front
assemblies of gas outlets and use them for purging. The front assembly will
sit on the jobsite - open to dirt and dust
- Contractors may use a
"universal" medical fitting where they have cut off the pin indexing so they
can use it on all gases. This leaves the door open for a fitting being left
at the jobsite and then able to used on any gas!
- Using the
Medi-Purge™, as intended, ensures the medical
gas pipelines have been properly purged while brazing
