Ensure your specifications include requirements the medical gas installing contractors use Medi-Purge™

  • Contractors may be use brazing rods, pencils, or other devices to hold the secondary checks open causing outlet damage
  • Contractors may not be flowing NF Nitrogen though outlets / inlets at all when brazing!
  • Contractors may use new, front assemblies of gas outlets and use them for purging. The front assembly will sit on the jobsite - open to dirt and dust
  • Contractors may use a "universal" medical fitting where they have cut off the pin indexing so they can use it on all gases. This leaves the door open for a fitting being left at the jobsite and then able to used on any gas!
  • Using the Medi-Purge™, as intended, ensures the medical gas pipelines have been properly purged while brazing
